About Dirk and his development styles

Well, my site is really at dirq.net but I'd thought I'd create another blog just for pure link farming. I know, I know - not very nice or entirely ethical but I'll probably post some useful stuff up here every once and a while.

Dirk Watkins

I'm a full-time web developer and have been focusing a lot of my attention on usability, accessibility and web standards. Although I do work alone most of the time I try to keep my internal code commented and ready for someone else to get into - just in case. Doing things this way is also nice for when you need to look back at something you did a year ago and remember what your thoughts were then. I work mostly in C#, JavaScript and CSS but have been dabbling in PHP and ActionScript a bit lately. I also have an indie rock band called Take Solace. I created that site to display some music, poetry, and art on too. I write most of the songs, sing and play guitar. I try. Let me know what you think of those things too.
