Take Solace will be at The Main Stage in Waukesha on Friday, May 25th around 9PM. They'll be opening for Sweetheart Tripwire. Most of the band members are from Carroll College so we're considering it some kind of Carroll reunion / end of school bash. If you want to see what some fellow alumns are up to or if you want to see what you might look like when you graduate come and check Take Solace and Sweetheart Tripwire out. And have a beer. They are always cold and wet at The Main Stage.

Indie Folk Rock in Milwaukee Wisconsin

If you are into Modest Mouse, Okkervil River, Neutral Milk Hotel or any other folk rock bands check out Take Solace. They are an indie folk rock band in Milwaukee and are bringing some new sounds to the area. Everyone knows that Milwaukee's music scene isn't the best right now, but even in the dark ages there can be some light. So go check them out when they come to your area. They play in Riverwest a lot and even go as far as Sturgeon Bay and Madison.

Freelance Websites

So, I've had a couple freelance jobs complete recently and thought you might be interested in some of my work. The sites are done for two businesses in Door County that are somewhat related: Talisman Sailing Charters and Robertson's Cottages. Both sites are hosted on Bluehost (whom I find to be a pretty reliable and good hosting provider). They use PHP and MySQL for the back ends cause that is the most cost effective solution available and I wanted to hone some of my skills in PHP.
